About me
Music is communication. Music is life. Music is meaning.
I have been playing the saxophone for more than 40 years, in all kinds of line-ups. I studied music in Hamburg: saxophone with Herb Geller, jazz mainly with Dieter Glawischnig and Christoph Schönherr.
Today I am a professor at the teacher training seminar in Stuttgart, where I train music teachers. I also play in the funk-fusion band Asteroid People. Once a year you can hear me in different line-ups at the Nacht der Keller in Weinstadt – and my favorite place to play is wherever people come together to celebrate.
